Sirua Darts began with a question asked in a Nairobi pub one night after watching the PDC World Championship Finals: what if darts in Kenya could be more than a pastime—what if it could be a stage for excellence, identity, and community?

The year was 2021. Gerwyn Price had a monumental run—lifting the World Championship trophy over Gary Anderson and finishing the year as world number one. Watching that moment, Jeff saw the spark in our own players—the discipline, the nerves, the precision—and knew they could shine on any stage if given the right platform. Dann sketched the scaffolding: a professional league, ranking systems, data integrity, and events that could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world's best. Penny brought the soul—insisting every event must feel like home: the music, the art, like-minded partnerships, the food, the warmth.

Together, we chose a name that carried weight—Sirua—drawn from Embere Sirua, the Maasai's precision spear. It wasn't just branding; it was a promise to build with accuracy, to move with purpose, and to honour where we come from.

What started as a modest outdoor tournament—with borrowed darts and handwritten brackets—quickly became a movement. Weekend fixtures drew crowds. Families began to show up. Matches drew real cheers. Young players lingered after games, learning the craft and the patience it takes to hit the wire—and then the wire again.

Through it all, Sirua stayed true to its centre: precision and heritage. Every event is designed like a great throw—focused, intentional, and unshakably ours. We build bridges: from local boards to world arenas, from casual fans to devoted communities, from culture to competition.
